Word from the Mouth: All Righty Then! edition

Hey everyone, I made it back from the US without any issue. Going into the US there was no one, and I mean no one, unlike some people I know who waited in line (ed’s note: are you flexing about your wait time at the airport?). The hardest part was the kid couldn’t even answer a simple question because children now a days have no clue what is going on or how to respond to authority (ed’s note: you gotta give us an “old man says” trigger warning before you drop a bomb like that!).

I mean you look at me and you definitely think this guy has been in jail (ed’s note: most of us think “should be”), his rap sheet is longer than the list Santa keeps. I mean I’m one of the cleanest people in the league.

Funniest thing ever has to be going to McDonalds at night to get some ice cream and instead of driving because it was right on the other side of parking lot we decided to walk, but on the way I realized I needed a bottle of water so we walked from the entrance to the car and went to drive thru. We get to order and, guess what, ice cream machine is no longer operational after 11. It was 11:01. I say that sucks balls and the person responds, Sir, here we say testicles. We are politically correct.

Hope that Saturday didn’t kill the grass at Darcy McGee, I know it did at Arthur Therrien, but there wasn’t much grass to start with.

Recap

Division 1

Missed all of D1 this week, but I Know Terry and Will were working or playing in these games so they will get covered in the Podcast.

Division 2

KOLB vs Top Shooters (50-49)

This game was back and forth with a combined 15 TDs from Brady and Jon. Player for player I’d give the edge to Top Shooters, but then you add the rain and somehow everything flipped. Top Shooters had no answer for Alex and Jeremi who scored 7 of the 8 TDS for KOLB and they also had the 3 picks on defense. Brady relied on Big Marv, Jeremy, and Jason who hauled in 16 of 18 completions and 259 of his 281 yards. Top Shooters turned it over 3 times and KOLB didn’t and they still only lost by 1. They did turn it over on downs 3 times as well though. Before half KOLB scored to go up 37-29 and were starting the second half with the ball. The big problem was they left 1 second on the clock and this allowed Brady to connect with Marvin 10 yards down field and Marvin  did the rest with his legs taking it in from 45 yards away. With the ball to start the second half, KOLB turned it over on downs at their 10-yard line. This allowed Top Shooters to go up 41-37. The defense kept it up and got the ball back on downs this again led to Top Shooters scoring and having a 49-37 advantage. KOLB were able to settle back in and moved the ball scored and on the first play on defense got a pick. Jon now had the ball with plenty of time with 6:42 left in the game. He left Brady with lots of time, but after a turnover on downs Top Shooters needed their defense to get another stop or the ball back, but on third and 3 Jon ran for 4 and a first down. Whistle blown game over.

Respect vs Pocket Rockets (43-30)

I will make this short and to the point. Pocket Rockets were missing players all over the place and this caused issues with consistency from PO. Willies dad was at the field, and I happened to get a quick quote from him, and he said he was sticking around to drive Willie home after the game, but only if he wins as losers don’t ride in his car. What would have been a great move from Pocket Rockets would have been to get Papa to play. You know Willie isn’t throwing it anywhere near him.

Division 3

Phoenix vs Double Dippers (25-30)

Simon was in at QB again for Phoenix and he could work his magic one more time. It took him until the third drive of the game before he got going with the first 2 ending in picks to Manu and Max. This gave Double Dippers a 6-0 with the ball and a chance to go up 12. The defense for Phoenix prevents the score keeping it at 6-0. The teams trade scores before half making it 12-6 at half. Double Dippers scored to open the second half to go up 2 scores and then both teams traded scores and with 8 minutes left the score was 24-12 Double Dippers. This is where I Ace Ventura Pet Detectived up, but only after the game was over could you make that statement. With 3:30 left in game and it being fourth and long I knew they were going to punt, but planned to use the 45 second clock. Instead of doing that I called a timeout to save clock. They punted and this left Simon plenty of time to score and go up 1-point. Francis scored his third TD of the game from 2 yards out, but this left 51 seconds on the clock. This gave David the perfect amount of time to not force anything stupid and can use the entire clock having all 3 timeouts. With zeros on the clock and being 11 yards out Double Dippers had 1 chance at it. He ran a 12 yard out from the slot and Mason did an in back endzone corner and was stuck in no mans land. I told the defense what play was coming, but Simon is a huge body and when he runs along the goal line you aren’t going to stop him and that’s what happened. That timeout Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls’d me hard, but at the time it was the right call.

Division 4

Legendaries vs Drama Club (26-6)

I’m just as shocked as you are by this outcome after how both teams looked the week before. Drama Club couldn’t have started out any better. They got a stop and then Simon led them down the field for their only score of the game. At half the score was 7-6 Legendaries with Drama Club getting the ball. This time Legendaries stopped the drive when Gordon picked off Simon. This led Ben rewarding Gordon for his effort with a 4-yard TD, giving them a 14-6 led. Now this is where the game went to Cable Guy for Simon and Drama Club. On back-to-back drives he threw pick 6s to Jerome and Andre to build the Legendaries advantage to 26-6. After that neither team did much and it ended with that score.

Division 5

514 vs Jungle Squad (12-26)

Let me start by pointing out both teams were missing their QB, the difference is Jungle Squad went with a seasoned vet in Gold and 514 stuck with someone from their roster. This didn’t end well for 514. Frederick struggled with consistency, and that is expected for a new QB, the surprising thing is that he only threw 1 pick and for a new QB that’s great. As for Jungle Squad, Gold got them on the board with a 45-yard run which he should have been tackled a few times on that run. At half the score was 14-6 Jungle. With their second possession 514 was able to score when Frederick connected with Joey for a 4-yard TD making it 14-12 Jungle. A few plays later, Gold sealed the game when he threw a deep pass to Perry to giving Jungle a 20-12 lead. After that 514 tried to get back into it, but Frederick lacking experience and playmakers did all he could, but it just wasn’t enough.

Nothing But D vs Slot Machine (2-34)

This was a game between the top 2 teams and boy did it ever disappoint. I want to talk about how Alec de Lafontaine-Jovani, the teams star QB, goes away for the weekend when you’re playing the top team and your team will need you. What also didn’t help for Nothing But D was Marcel getting a ball to the face and bending his nail all the way back and being forced out from the game. I’m not a fan of how Slot Machine operates with their line up, but it works. Karmina Asharyzad is a beast at rushing, accumulating 2 more sacks on the season. She also gets pressure on every snap which means the ball comes out fast and the other ladies playing short are all good tacklers, so this eliminates YAC. Are Slot Machine the best team in the division? Are they going to win it all? My bet would be yes, but we’ll have to wait 5 more weeks to see.

Women’s

Sorry Ladies I missed your games this week. Next week.

That is all for this week. I just want to let you all know that you can send any of us (Terry, Will, Mathieu or myself) little tidbits about your game and we will for sure mention it one way or another. Don’t forget to look out for the MFL Total Access Podcast to be up Wednesday at some point.

Studs & Duds

With how the weather was this past weekend, making my picks were pretty simple. You either dominated on defense or had better traction than the player trying to guard you. Let’s see who I went with.

Studs

Division 1

- Ashton Thibault 10 catches over 100 yards, 2 TDs, 1 1-ponit convert, 1 2-point convert and on defense he made 3 tackles and had 2 picks.

Division 2

- Jérémi Riendeau-Demers 9 catches for 98 yards, 4 TDs and 2 picks on defense.

Division 3

- David Brisson for staying calm and driving the field for the win with 51 seconds on the clock.

Division 4

- Anfernee Garçon 4 picks and ran 1 back to the house for 6 points.

Division 5

- Eric Namts played 2 games and put up 12 catches for 176 yards, 5 TDs, 2 1-point converts and made 4 tackles, 1 sack  and had 2 picks on defense.

Women’s

- Edna Pérez 4 picks scoring on 2 of them.

Duds

Division 1

- William Power 3 picks thrown and completing just over 50% of your passes.

Division 2

- Pierre-Olivier Tremblay-Agelakos 4 more picks throw taking his total on the year to 16.

Division 3

- Kris Hope, once again throwing a pass when he was over CAP. I know Jon wants to take the blame, but he wasn’t the one who threw the ball knowing he wasn’t allowed or holding a gun to the players head.

Division 4

- Simon Dumas threw 5 picks.

Division 5

- Nicolas Hurtubise 4 picks buddy, keep it up and just a friendly reminder beer in 2 weeks and none of that light crap.

Women’s

- Paola Olivares 4 picks thrown against Crazy B’s in game number 1. I get you’re winning games, but you have to cut these mistakes down if you want to beat the top teams.

Those are you winners for week 9. You can either try harder to make my list or you can go the other way and Bruce Almighty the bed, but in order to make my list you need to have the stat line to prove it. That is unless you have made the same mistake multiple times in the season, then it’s a given that you’re making my list.

Predictions and Power Rankings Week 8

Predictions and Power Rankings Week 8

Predictions

Good news for me is that both my teams won without me playing last week which is great (ed’s note: you’d almost think they were at an advantage somehow…). Last week I managed to go 14-14 (ed’s note: that’s like a coin toss or something!), so this week needs to be better, but you have to wonder if the Coin gave up too early. Now to my picks and, like always, they are in bold.

Power Rankings

With less than a quarter of the season left, teams have put out who they are and what they are all about and yet somehow doing my rankings and putting teams in certain places just seemed wrong at this point. After weighing all my options and looking over everything with a fine-tooth comb, I produced these rankings after 8 weeks of games.

Division 1

#1- Outlaws

#2- Busch Boys

#3- A-Team

Division 2

#1- Respect

#2- Pocket Rockets

#3- Top Shooter

That is how I have my rankings going into week 9. I can tell you that if you want your team on my list before the season ends you better step up your game win games and, in some cases, get some help from other teams.

Final Thoughts

Looks like another long weekend and you know what that means, lots of subbing. At least in the past that’s been the case for these long weekends.

While writing this I was thinking why wouldn’t we take 1 of the 2 weekends off and do our HOF inductions or some sort of draft games. I mean it shouldn’t be too difficult if we were to schedule an extra time slot for a few weeks (ed’s note: oh yeah, so easy to just add time slots…). This would give everyone a week off during season and allow people to take advantage of the extra day off. I know it won’t happen, I’m just putting it out there. I mean last week I was just lucky to get 6 players out for D3, but that’s on me as a captain.

On Saturday I was talking to someone who used to work with me, but in a different department, and asked him how he’s been since I hadn’t seen him in a while. He goes I don’t work there anymore, obviously follow up question is where you are working now. His response is for the government. I asked doing what and he said its confidential. I quickly came to 2 conclusions. He either has no clue what he does for the government like most of them of or he is conducting Alien autopsies. I figure it’s the second one, but he can’t confirm or deny my claims. I was just putting that out there so when I go to the US on Sunday, if I don’t comeback you all know why. I knew too much. (ed’s note: I don’t think anyone has ever even considered that would be a problem for you)

Good luck to everyone this weekend. See you Saturday and even some of you folks on Sunday as well.

Word from the Mouth: Winning Sans Kevin! edition

Word from the Mouth: Winning Sans Kevin! edition

Hello and welcome back. I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend, unless you are one of those suckers that had to work, then I feel sorry for you since while the rest of the province got high and drunk to celebrate, you were stuck doing what you do.

Tonight can be big night if someone’s boyfriends team can pull off the miraculous comeback from being down 3-0. (ed’s note: spoiler alert, they did not) With that being said its due time the Cup comes north of the border (ed’s note: unless it’s to Toronto, obviously).

I know its early to be looking towards the fall season and I personally hate looking to the next season when I  still have games to play this season, but if you’re looking for a player or two and want to keep it hush hush, come out to Brossard on Sundays and see if you can’t get a few guys to move over to Montreal. I can tell you there are more than a few guys that could play D2 at least.

Recap

Division 1

Busch Boys vs A-Team (32-57)

This was completed one sided and it should have been. Busch Boys were missing a bunch of players, Manu didn’t accept the sub request and I refused to add player at field even with A-Team saying it was ok, so they played with 6. Simon did all he could with what he had out there this weekend. As for A-Team, what can I say? Dave played lights out, spreading the ball, making the right reads, and using his legs when he needed to. Anytime Dave didn’t have the throw he wanted, he had Devin sitting in a hole with no one around all day long. Everyone on the team contributed which is great, but after last week the biggest change for A-Team is the behavior and I’ll say it now, if they play like this every week, don’t be surprised to see them holding the trophy at the end of the season. (ed’s note: honestly, when Dilan keeps everyone in check, this has been the best team in the league for a while now. When the team gets in their own heads though, that’s another story.)

Division 2

KOLB vs Pocket Rockets (40-39)

I know that Pocket Rockets scored with 17 seconds left to go down 1, I just want to know if they went for the win or OT by going for 1 or 2.

Division 3

Tigres vs Phoenix (20-21) OT

Phoenix was well short of players this week and as the captain I can tell you I was just hoping to field a team and it not be a forfeit. I went with Simon at QB for a few reasons, but mainly because he would be able to play defense if something happened. First half both teams struggled, Simon with the new players and Tigres because Phoenix had a good game plan in place defensively. At half Tigres held a 6-0 lead at half with a 3-yard pass from Hector to Joshua. Phoenix made a few adjustments and were able to score on their opening drive of the second half when Josh scored from 7 yards out. I can tell you that the sidelines weren’t happy he was called  in, and I can tell you from being right where the fans are I would have called him out but from the 15-yard line to the back corner far side I’m not making a call from there. This tied it up at 6 and made Tigres lose focus for a play which was a pick from Hector to JF who scored on the play. This is also the reason I went with Simon at QB, Jose got hurt and wasn’t able to complete the game and with just under 16 minutes left playing 6vs5 with this super athletic Tigres team we would have gotten destroyed. Once the game resumed Tigres had the ball when Hector threw a bomb to Joshua for 42 yards and a few plays later Joshua finished the drive off from scoring from 8 yards out. Both teams traded scores and the game was tied with zeros on the clock. In OT Phoenix started and failed on their first attempt, but so did Tigres. With their second attempt Joshua made a beautiful grab coming along the back goal line. With the game on the line Simon went for 2. JF ran a 10 out from the slot caught the ball on the line. Catch and flag made at same time, but hips were on the line called good, game over and JF the hero once again.

Division 4

Villains vs Phoenix (16-30)

I missed the early fireworks in this one as I had a late start at Arthur Therrien. What I missed was Vince scoring on the first play from 41 yards away. I guess going to school and getting an education isn’t a thing in the Pointe. Connor the field is 45 not 41 yards (ed’s note: Connor has just been instructed, as have all scorekeepers, to reduce all stats for any team a Kousaie is on). Then on Villains first play, Big Dave back from France gets the first of his 2 picks and takes it to the house giving Phoenix a 12-0 lead. By the time I arrived Villains had scored twice (Pat from 7 yards out and Samuel from 2 yards out & Jenna scored a 2-point convert) taking a 2-point led. With Vince scoring his second TD of the game before half, Phoenix was up 18-14. Second half Phoenix started with the ball and with all the attention Vince was getting, this allowed Gab to sneak out on a chair and score a big 23-yard TD. The only points Villains could mustard up (ed’s note: leaving that one in!) in the second half was a safety by Lucas. Nick was able to put the final nail in the coffin when Brian ran what looked like a corner and found a big empty spot to sit in and wait for the ball. This would have been a different game had it not be for Jeremi being hurt earlier in the day.

Division 5

I missed seeing games in this division. Hope to catch a game or two next week, but that will depend on other refs availability.

Women’s

I missed seeing games in this division. Hope to catch a game or two next week, but that will depend on other refs availability. (ed’s note: that’s some copy-paste lazy writing, right there!)

Studs & Duds

It seems like the last few weeks everyone took it easy and made my picks easy. This week was a bit more challenging, but I managed to figure it out. Now let’s see who I cam up with.

Studs

Division 1

- David Daoust went 30 of 37 for 252 yards with 7 TDs

Division 2

- Jérémi Riendeau-Demers 7 catches for 52 yards, 3 TDs and 1 1-point convert. He also made 2 tackles and returned a pick for 1-point

Division 3

- Will Bradford had 4 pick 6s in 1 game that’s all I have to put up

Division 4

- Thibault Varin 3 TDs on offense 2 picks and 1 returned for a TD on defense

Division 5

- Jorge Hernandez 7 catches 81 yards, 3 TDs and 1 1-point convert

Women’s

- Charlotte St-Pierre 10 catches 76 yards, 2 TDs, 1 1-point convert, and she made 3 tackles and 1 sack on defense

Duds

Division 1

- Manu for not accepting the sub request and stressing Simon out before the game

Division 2

- Ryan Dobbs 1 catch 5 yards and I know it was a TD, but the targets need to go up for someone of your talent

Division 3

- PO with his 4 TD passes, they just happen to be to the wrong team

Division 4

- Sour Peeps captain for breaking roster rules and having their game switched to a forfeit and the possibility of not finishing first now

Division 5

- Robert Thomas Gallagher you threw 5 picks and only threw passes towards Biddle

Women’s

- Tigres convert attempts, go with your best play. Too many games come down to converts and when you have only a handful successful ones all season, you got to get better if you want to win close games

There you go week 8 winners and losers.

Final Thoughts

Skip Holtz has won 3 straight titles with the Birmingham Stallions, 2 in the USFL and this year in the UFL and its been with different players each time. I know that its not the NFL, but don’t tell me someone somewhere couldn’t use a winner. I mean Mockingjays you can fire Alex and hire this person.

I don’t watch soccer other than the World Cup, but if you’re into that the Euro Cup has started. Id watch since I’m off this week following surgery, but I see enough players flopping on Saturday and Sunday in the MFL.

I want to know who the parakeet kisses it takes 2 hours and 45 minutes for a round trip from Point Claire to Saint Mary’s Hospital at 4 in the afternoon. I could have gone to Kingston in that time. The city needs to stop with all this construction baisers d'oiseaux where lanes get closed off so some developer can build more blue jay snuggling condos. They destroy the roads with the heavy equipment and then leave and everyone in the area gets hummingbird hugged because of it. (ed’s note: close the roads! Bike lanes and tram lines everywhere!)

Ill be there Saturday, though not playing. Let me try to remind everyone before I let you go that we are playing a game for fun, so take it easy on the other team, the refs, and your team as well. Okay, does everyone get it? Before you make a scene, take a step back, a big breath, and ask yourself am I a grown up playing a game or am I a child thinking that this is my life and all I have?’. (ed’s note: 100% the latter for me)

Word from the Mouth: Ain't Misbehavin'! edition

Word from the Mouth: Ain't Misbehavin'! edition

My last week of football before surgery and boy was it eventful.

We had a team not show up once again for the second or third time in a row. It is crazy that a team just won’t show up, it sucks for the team that is supposed to play against them.

With the school year ready to end in a few days, I’m wondering if we will be setting up the kids league again this season. I hope so, but I also know it is a lot to get done and we would need more coaches to help run drills and organize a team.

The one point I make every week is that we are playing a game for fun, but I guess some players think that MFL is a stepping block to the NFL. You all need to settle the sea monkeys down and come out and enjoy yourself. Everyone blames the refs for bad calls or missed calls, but I want to point out that the NFL is a multi billion-dollar company and has the same issues and they have replay to look back at and make a correct call. If you think refereeing is easy, go see Terry on Saturday and you can find out how little fun it is to get berated all game from certain players that want and need everything to go their way.

Recap

Division 1

Master Chiefs vs Outlaws (32-40)

With Vinny and Steve both under center you expect to see a lot of great balls being thrown, but the best and most surprising throw of the game came from Mike Jaz. It was fourth down and 15 yards to go, Jaz drops from center and Vinny throws him the ball and instead of throwing it back to Vinny he threw a dart to Avery who was coming across the field. Mike hit him in stride and in traffic. I was just as shocked as everyone that Mike threw that pass. Master Chiefs had a few too many drops in the game that hurt them early and then late in the game they weren’t on the same page. No Smuda, no Svetna, no Jaf? No problem is what Steve said. Max was sure handed on offense, but made his presence felt on defense snagging 2 picks. Josh had a big game scoring only once, but grabbing 10 passes for 95 yards. Steve was able to have his way with Chiefs defense since he was able to avoid baby Maynard rushing him all game except once which allowed him time to look at multiple receivers before throwing the ball.

Division 2

Missed D2 this week hope to be back next week.

Division 3

Phoenix vs Thunder Buddies (45-18)

Thunder Buddies lost David due to injuries and we have known for a while now, but this week he was replaced on the roster by Brady which is huge. Brady is a fantastic defender and a solid receiver. I knew going in that it was going to be a struggle and it was. Opening drive Terry picked us apart and drove to score. Phoenix looked to answer and after a few drops Phoenix was left with a fourth and ten from midfield. I knew we had to go for it, but I wanted to punt because we had just dropped a few passes and wanted to play smart, but at midfield you have to go for it. I threw a post to Alec who stretched out and brought it in with his fingertips. After both teams traded TDs, Terry went for it on fourth in their zone and with the turnover it put Phoenix in a great position to go up a TD. With time running out in the half Phoenix had a 20-12 lead with Thunder Buddies driving, but the half ran out of time without them scoring. Second half rolled around and Phoenix started with the ball and everything I said at half came true. We went down and scored, defense was going to get a pick and we were going to score again and go up 3 scores. After that, the game was all but over. There were a few plays that if made would have made the game different. I threw a pass to Josh, but I was too trigger happy and let it fly to early and Ryan made a great jump on the ball that if he caught might have been for 6 points. Oh, and I was told to mention how Nick is still waiting for his fathers day card from Willie after taking ownership of him on Saturday.

Division 4

100 Genies vs Phoenix (0-25)

This game was actually 13-19 but got switched to a forfeit because Genies had a sub that was above the sub cap limit. It sucks balls, but rules are rules. 100 Genies were missing Gabriel and not only is he their QB, but he is also one heck of a defender. Othmane Karamat is their next best player and yes, he did get 3 sacks which is great, but on offense we locked him down to only getting 2 catches for 15 yards. Vince dominated this game on the stat sheet scoring twice, over 100 yards and getting 3 picks, but most of those yards were on his 2 big TD catches. With 6 minutes left Phoenix was down 13-6 and they hadn’t moved the ball much all day and it was do or die time. Phoenix scored but missed the convert and with 3 minutes left Phoenix needed a stop and to have any chance at getting the win. After 100 Genies started moving the ball, I decided to go rush for a play to mix it up and confuse the QB. Guillaume felt he was going to have a chance at a big play, but the ball was a bit high and he had to jump which gave me time to get to him. I sacked him and on the next play he threw the ball quickly where Vince got his third pick of the game. Phoenix did score to take a 5-point lead with 30 seconds left. We went for 1 and the play was huge since it would put us up 6 and give us a buffer sort of. Kat ran her route and without anyone around her she pulled the ball in to put us up 6. With 30 seconds and all their timeouts 100 Genies were able to get past half, but nothing after that.

Division 5

Slicks vs Jungle Squad (32-13)

Guillaume had a game to warm up before and was ready to go once the first whistle blew. Guillaume is a good D5 QB, but he could become an exceptionally good high division rusher as well. Scott runs that defense and makes sure that everyone knows what to do and where to be in every situation. Luca is a payer teams need to watch out for he is fast, but that’s not what will beat you its his shiftiness that you need to look out for. You have heard of stopping and changing direction on a dime, they coined that after watching him do a few drills. Jungle Squad has been screwed by injuries in the past and let’s hope that Jérôme can comeback and that it was just a little tweak to his knee. With the way Slicks are I won’t be surprised to see them make a deep run in the playoffs.

514 vs Big Booties (6-27)

This game might get changed to a forfeit, not 100% since 514 was only 3 players and used 3 subs including 1 that was well above the limit and Max threw 4 passes, 3 incompletes, and a pick to Alex the sub who is over cap. I will just make a few pointers about this game and leave it like that. Remi Faugere just takes the easy throws and listens to Max as he played QB for years and years and knows what he is talking about when he says run a play. As for 514, Lesniak you need to show up, lol. Jean-Philippe Larouche as a first time QB it will get better than that. 6 picks is rough, but with a few simple adjustments you can cut that in half easily. Most, if not all, your passes were thrown into the middle of the field where there is more congestion. Try using the sidelines, have players run drags or outs give yourself easy throws and don’t force anything stupid. One player that impressed me in this game was Charles Schiller. If you could have seen him a few seasons ago, he had no clue about to run routes, catch the ball, play defense, or even rush which is what he has done up to now. In this game Charles made a few good catches, made some tackles, and made his first ever pick. For me, the most impressive thing he did was body placement. Meaning that instead of sticking out his arms to make a catch where the defender can make a play on the ball, he is moving his body into place to protect the ball from the defender. Its plays like that when you see them you can see that he is figuring it out and once you can just react without thinking is when you become a dangerous player.

Studs & Duds

We had a few big Studs this week and a bunch of Duds and I have no clue where I should start, but guess we should start with the good before the bad and I’ve thought about adding in the ugly, but I’d need a complete player list to do that.

Studs

Division 1

- Brady Ohanessian 3 TDs and 1 pick in 2 games.

Division 2

- Stephen Harripersaud as many incomplete passes as TDs 14 in 2 games.

Division 3

- Jean-François Lawrence 1 TD, 1 1-point convert, 2 picks and returned 1 for a TD

Division 4

Division 5

- Marcel Jovani 3 more TDs on the season plus another pick as well

Women’s

- Julie Gauvin 7 catches 41 yards and a TD on offense but Julie stepped up and dominated on defense with 3 picks

Duds

Division 1

- The children for their behavior and you know who you are

Division 2

- Pierre-Olivier Tremblay-Agelakos 19 of 41 with 3 picks is tough and why you see your name up here

Division 3

- Thunder Buddies defensive stat line of 4 tackles as a team, plus giving up 45 points as well

Division 4

- Brian Mustard 5 picks gets you on the list automatically

Division 5

- The Sniffers for not showing up again after saying you were going to be there

Those are your winners and your losers following week 7. I had lots of picks to make, but think the ones I made were well deserved.
